 We
are located at the "Beginning of the Hill Country", one hour
south of Dallas/Fort Worth, 17 miles off Interstate 35 at
the Hillsboro exit. We are
a Lakefront Inn overlooking the
4th largest lake in Texas. Lake Whitney is located on the
Brazos River - "Brazos con Dios" which means, "in the arms
of God". The waters are clear and blue due to the limestone
base of the riverbed. The Dallas Morning News has rated Lake
Whitney as the #2
overall lake in the state.

Hill County, Texas, United States.
The population was 1,833 at the 2000 census.
Whitney is a rural lakeside community, and site of the very
first
bass fishing tournament. It took place on Lake Whitney
in 1955
with 73 teams participating.

I-35 at Hillsboro
1. (Southbound) Take the first Hillsboro Exit - Hwy. 77
which is immediately past where I-35E and I-35W merge. Stay
to the right going into Hillsboro. Turn Right onto Hwy. 22
(Elm Street) and go approximately 12 miles to Whitney.
(Northbound) Take the first Hillsboro exit. You will be
Exiting to the Left. Follow that highway on into Hillsboro.
Go to the 3rd traffic light at the Court House. Turn Left
onto Hwy. 22 (Elm Street) and go approximately 12 miles to
Whitney.
2. At the "Y" Intersection - bear to the Right (sign will
read Downtown) Jefferson Street
3. Go to first traffic light and turn Right onto FM 933
North.
4. Go approx. 2 miles to Caution Light and turn Left onto FM
1713.
5. Go 2.8 miles - you will see our
sign next to the Waterview sign on the Right - turn Right at
the Waterview sign.
6. Go to Sunset Strip and turn Right.
7. Follow to the end of the road and go Left and then an
make an IMMEDIATE Right onto Park Lane.
8. The Inn is the 7th house on the Left. Please enter the
house; your welcome package will be on the board behind the
front door.
